Do I choose a preformed pond, or just buy pond liner?

Pond liners are basically of two types, flexible and preformed liners depending on the size of your pond. The flexible liners are made up of rubber which is fish-friendly and could last up to two decades. This type of liners are good for large ponds as they might be too thick to fit in a small pond. The preformed liners come in shapes that are already formed making it a perfect form for small ponds, these will save your time from putting patches yourself and are long lasting as well! There a few different forms of liners, butyl pond liners, rigid, rubber and small plastic liners.

These steps are important since you are already spending good money on a decent liner, so you need to make sure that they remain protected for a long period of time.
